The Committee to Support Implementation and Compliance, as part of its function of periodic consultation and dialogue with the Parties, will visit Saint Lucia from April 3 to 4, 2025.
The visit will be carried out in accordance with the Rules relating to the structure and functions of the Committee (COP decision I/3) and its Working Modalities (LC/TS.2024/33), following the agenda agreed upon between Saint Lucia and the Committee.
Topics
- Public participation in the decision-making process for projects and activities that have or may have a significant impact on the environment (article 7.2).
- Access to justice in environmental matters, with particular focus on means to publicize the right of access to justice and the procedures to ensure its effectiveness (article 8.4).
